A Warm, Purposely Designed Home For Up To Three Children
Our home is set in a beautiful location and has been purposely selected to meet the needs of our children. The property is a four-bedroom home, with one staff sleep-in room and three bedrooms for children aged 4 to 14, welcoming a mixture of genders. Children have access to a shared lounge area where they can watch TV, play games and read books, as well as a private garden space for outdoor activities and relaxation. WiFi is available throughout the home to support both leisure and educational needs.
The home is fully furnished to a high standard, decorated throughout with comfortable, modern and calming furnishings. Every child has their own spacious bedroom with adequate storage space and is encouraged to personalise it through their own choice of bedding, posters, pictures, books and personal items. Keys are provided to bedrooms on an age-dependent basis. The home contains all modern amenities including central heating, a fully fitted kitchen, washing machine, dryer and appropriate shower facilities — all designed to create a warm, family-style environment that avoids any institutional feel.

How We Support Every Young Child
Our team works closely with social workers, families and guardians ensuring every child benefits from meaningful, supportive relationships. Social workers maintain regular contact through visits and calls, whilst our staff actively encourage every child to communicate openly and attend all meetings about their future.
At La Volée we are committed to meeting the needs of children from all communities. We recognise and celebrate every child’s cultural identity, religion, race and beliefs, ensuring all staff fully understand each child’s background from the very point of admission into our care.
We never label children as naughty or aggressive as such labels only damage an already fragile self-perception. Instead we work compassionately with feelings of fear, frustration, anger and sadness, teaching calming techniques and emotional regulation through every single daily interaction with every child.
